Cold Comfort Beatrix is a striking solid bay black female and a much-valued member of our breeding herd.
Her sire is Bozedown Grey Wolf and her dam is Jessamine Grey Goose, who was Champion Grey Female at the South of England Show in 2015, so she carries strong grey and black breeding.
Beatrix's fleece is remarkably fine and even for a proven breeding female, testing at 19.8 micron with a standard deviation of 3.9, with excellent coverage and outstanding staple length.
She has more than proven herself as a dam: she is the mother of our stunning mid silver grey Bonnington Bjork and the elegant Bonnington Bonny Barbara, and she currently has a cria at foot. She is a gentle girl who is easy to handle and a wonderfully attentive mother.
With her rich bay black colour, superfine fleece and record of producing quality cria, Beatrix would be a true foundation female for any breeding herd.
