Herts Alpacas Little Nige is an outstanding solid mid brown stud male who was awarded Champion Brown Male at the South of England Show in 2026.
He is sired by Herts Alpacas Nigel and out of Brampton Valley Violet, and carries the strong Herts Alpacas brown breeding known for fine, richly coloured fleece.
Little Nige's own fibre is ultrafine, testing at 18.3 micron with a standard deviation of 3.9, dense and soft to the handle, and, more tellingly, he has stamped that fineness on his cria, a number of whom we have kept back or sold on to other breeders.
He is a stunning male with a desirable phenotype, strong-boned and broad with a handsome, masculine head. He is eager to get to work each time and has produced some exceptional offspring.
With his championship record, ultrafine brown fleece and proven ability to pass his quality down the line, Little Nige would make a superb stud male for any breeding herd.
